Description
Matrixyl (palmitoyl pentapeptide-4) is a lipidated fragment of collagen I’s pro-peptide region, designed so the palmitoyl tail carries the signal peptide into skin models.
Fibroblast-culture studies report stimulation of collagen and fibronectin synthesis, which made it one of the most cited peptides in cosmetic-formulation research.
