Terms & Conditions

These terms govern every purchase from VitaPep (“we”, “us”). By placing an order you accept them in full.

1. Eligibility and certification

You must be at least 18 years old. By ordering, you certify that you are a qualified researcher or are purchasing on behalf of a research institution, and that all products will be used exclusively for in-vitro laboratory research in accordance with our Research Use Only Policy, which is incorporated into these terms.

2. Products

All products are chemical reference materials for laboratory research. They are not for human consumption, medical, diagnostic, or veterinary use. Product specifications (purity, mass, format) are as stated on the certificate of analysis for each lot; where a product page and a COA differ, the COA governs.

3. Orders and payment

An order is an offer to purchase and is accepted when we confirm payment. Unpaid orders are held for 24 hours and then cancelled automatically. Payment is by Interac e-Transfer or cryptocurrency as instructed at checkout; prices are in Canadian dollars.

4. Shipping and risk

We ship within Canada by tracked courier. Risk of loss passes to you on delivery to the address you provided. Temperature-sensitive products are packed appropriately, but you are responsible for promptly receiving and correctly storing your order on arrival.

5. Returns and replacements

Because products are temperature-sensitive research materials, all sales are final and returns are not accepted. If a product arrives damaged, or a lot’s independent analysis does not meet its labelled specification, notify us within 7 days of delivery and we will replace the product or refund the purchase price. This is your exclusive remedy.

6. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

Products are provided “as is” for research purposes. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all other warranties, and our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for any use of products contrary to these terms.

7. Indemnity

You will indemnify and hold harmless VitaPep, its owners, and employees from any claim, loss, or liability arising from your use, handling, storage, or disposal of products, including any use inconsistent with these terms.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
