Description
GHK-Cu is the copper(II) complex of glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine, a tripeptide first isolated from human plasma, where its abundance declines markedly with age.
It is among the most-published cosmetic-adjacent research peptides: studies cover collagen and glycosaminoglycan synthesis in fibroblast culture, dermal remodelling, wound-model healing, and large-scale gene-expression “resetting” profiles. Copper delivery to tissue enzymes is one proposed mechanism under investigation.
