Cortagen (Ala-Glu-Asp-Pro) is a tetrapeptide from the Russian “bioregulator” research program associated with the Khavinson institute.
Its published work focuses on peripheral-nerve regeneration models; like other short bioregulator peptides, it is hypothesized to act through tissue-specific gene-expression modulation, a mechanism still under investigation.
