Description
GHRP-6 is a first-generation growth-hormone-releasing hexapeptide and one of the earliest synthetic ghrelin-receptor agonists — historically important because its activity led to the discovery of the ghrelin receptor itself.
Research use spans GH-release pharmacology and appetite signalling, where its pronounced hunger effect (via the same receptor) is itself a studied phenomenon.
